I would give it a zero if I could. We bought the phone and had to wait for an unlock code. We waited 2 months for that and never got it. We called customer service almost every day and the wait time is horrible the reps never give the same answer. They told me to return the phone which was impossible since the 30 period for electronics to be returned was up.
The last rep I talked to told me that a two month wait for unlock codes was not uncommon. Well it is not two months later so in all it has been 4 months and we still don't have an unlock code.
I turned the company into the better business bureau.

I think alltel is the best company that i have ever had. I use to be with sprint and i hated it they never work in monroville al and when you go out in the middle of no were you can forget it alltel works in places were i go so those people who is talking about they are horrible and talking about bad covergae all you have to do is do *228 on your phone and upgrade your prl thats all and eveyone that is with allte know that if you have a r or a triange at the top of your phone and it is flasing u are ok and if you are not flasing get the plane were they give you 100 roaming minuts for only 10.00 a month and have it so i dont have to worry and i never roam so there is no reason to hasve it

Alltel Wireless is the best in my area! I have the RAZR V3c and it gets service everywhere!!! It might not be full bars but i will always have 1, and that is good for a call. There network (CDMA) is very clear, I had never had a dropped call yet. Their customer service at the RETAIL STORE is awesome, they are nice and know what they are talking about. On the other hand their customer service on the phone sucks. But overall I give them 4 1/2 stars.
They are a little expensive but it pays off in the service.

I love Alltel, every time I have a problem, they do everything in their power to correct it. Better than I can say about Verizon! They always have a friendly, and HOT staff ready to help me with what I need. I give them both thumbs and both big toes!

the worst cell phone company i have ever delt with, i paid my bill late because i was in the hospital for 60 days,i ask them how much they told what to pay and they would turn it back on.i paid it but they would not turn it on untul i paid a 100 dollar deposit. i talked to a manger and she said they had no right do what they said, even though they were a worked there, it didnt matter. i paid the bill and had it turned off never to us a company that lies and wont back there people

I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM ALLTEL THEY HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE.THEY HAVE BILLED ME ALONG WITH CINGULAR FOR THE SAME SERVICE.THEY OFFER POOR QUALITY PHONES.THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE RUDE GIVE OUT BAD INFORMATION AND THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT.I HAD A NEW PHONE FROM THEM AND IT ONLY LASTED 15DAYS AND THEY CHARGED ME 170 BUCKS FOR ANTOHER ONE

I have an alltel phone right now that i am about to throw out a window. I was having problems with the sound(I cant hear people because its like i NEVEr have a signal) even thought I have full bars. SO I took it in and the only thing they could tell me to do was pay more money to get a new phone in which i am having THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. The altell reps are HORRIBLE and RUDE and dont know #@!* about cell phones!All they want is your money, then they are done with you, they wont help with any of your problems! I would never advise someone to use Alltel!
