Con's
1. Poor tex
2. Slow Internet
It is a inexpensive phone. That is meant to be used easily and quickly. I can check my email, facebook and my checking account all on this phone. The phone is only $20 and unlimited plan for $50. Grate phone for saving money and staying in touch cheap.
Ten years ago I had a better phone than this. It's so cheap, I mean words can't explain. All I'm going to say is boost mobile please step your game up on this one, this is bad for business.
To put it in short, this was a very lousy experience. I'm usually pretty gentle on phone reviews, even with the bad ones, but this is about as bad as it gets.
Pros:
-sound quality was alright
-PTT worked well
-it's $30, and at least looks better than most other prepaid phones of it's price range
Cons:
-bad reception, dropped calls
-messaging issues
-screen looks very washed out
-keypad is like connecting lego blocks with sandpaper in between
-GPS and internet were useless
I won't bother writing a twenty minute monologue detailing all the cons. If your in a pinch and can't afford to get anything else in Boost or Nextel's lineup, it's better to have this than nothing. But if your looking for a good basic phone, the i335 is an exponentially better choice. iDEN carriers are wasting warehouse space with this one.
Why can't can't Motorola make a phone that is worth the price? This phone feels cheap and plastic-y. The whole thing is made of cheap cheap plastic. Dropped it once in the store and chipped the corner. Boost-ers look for something else.
