Motorola ic402 Blend Reviews

Pretty Decent Phone
Rating:

This is a pretty decent phone I had it for a few days the only thing I didn't like about it is that it doesn't have a caller id screen on the outside of the phone other than that it worked fine.

Rethinking nextel to sprint
Rating:

When i first heard of this phone coming to market i thought oh my god this is the end of an era for moto and iden. i never really liked cdma network primarily due to the major carriers of it. however with the merger and this new era of hybrid tech. i am seriously rethinking how much better and easier it is to use the phone, and calling features with cdma. I am still sold on the iden network for ptt feature you cant touch them on that. I currently have an i580 and I am very satisfied with it for a while.
This phone is my wifes' and she and i love the the call clearity of the PCS network. ptt is great. These new ic's share the same programming as sprints phones and they run just like them it will take a while to get use to if you've had nextel phones a while! Iden is still good, but cdma (or gsm) is the way of the future for calling and we are all going to have to goto it someday

Pros:
Sleekish new style
very profound for a bottom end phone
great phone clarity(cdma)
best rf signal of all my nextel phones yet
ptt is great
fully loaded with applications (calculator,etc.)
I love the texting no more thru the internet
front facing speakers

Cons:
batt life is ?able
ext speaker and ringers are a little weak (not as loud as a true iden phone)
the phone sim cards are not switchable
to any other phone

This phone allows you to do so much more that is if you are not use to other carriers phones you need to watch out for some of the features you now get like roaming. older nextel phones never had this feature so you need to watch out and learn this phone all in all i find myself with one sooner than i had previously thought

Rating:

Great idea in theory, but the batt life was unbearable.
